Desireé Duffy is a marketer, writer, and public relations expert who works in the technology industry. She’s currently the vice president for R6S, an award-winning digital marketing agency in Los Angeles. She is also the co-president for the Alliance for Women in Media’s Southern California Affiliate, is on the Board of Advisors for Digital Hollywood’s Women in Technology and Entertainment Summit, and is on the Board of Directors for the L.E.A.F. Foundation.
 
During her early career, Duffy was a radio host, program director, producer, and marketing professional with companies that include: the Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills, (formerly The Museum of Television & Radio); Clear Channel’s KFI-AM, ABC’s ESPN Radio/Radio Disney/KABC-AM/KLOS-FM; Buckley Broadcasting’s KLLY-FM/KSMJ-FM; High Desert Broadcasting’s V106-FM, and her own marketing and PR consulting business.
 
From 2003 to 2005, Duffy served as president for the Southern California Chapter of American Women in Radio and Television, now known as the Alliance for Women in Media Southern California Affiliate (AWM SoCal), a non-profit membership organization which supports women in media. She also was as a member of the national board of directors for the organization from 2006 to 2008. Today she is back as a Co-President of the affiliate, and also sits on the Advisory Board of Directors.
 
In addition to broadcasting, entertainment, and non-profits, Duffy has also worked in consumer goods, e-commerce, and currently holds the position of Vice President with ITC, an award-winning digital marketing agency. Her position focuses on integrated marketing and creative digital solutions for prestigious companies and organizations.
 
Duffy has a love for science and technology. She is honored to support organizations like XPRIZE as a Vanguard, The Lifeboat Foundation as an Advisory Board Member, and Digital Hollywood by sitting on the Women in Technology and Entertainment Summit’s Board of Advisors.
 
An adventurer at heart, Duffy has dug fossils in the Nevada desert; traveled to the rain forests of Costa Rica and explored the country’s prehistoric stone spheres; been a cataphile in the Paris Catacombs; hiked through vortexes in Sedona, Arizona; visited with the owner of Leap Castle—the legendary most haunted castle in Ireland—and peered into its famed oubliette; explored the Taj Mahal in India; jaunted through coffee houses in Amsterdam; and visited her favorite place in the world—the Loire Valley in France.
 
A natural communicator and visionary, Duffy is routinely published in trade magazines; speaks in public; writes about marketing, technology and innovation; is the author of a fiction novel; has done standup comedy; managed high-profile events with musicians like Sting, Ozzy Osbourne, REM and Rob Zombie; and uses her social media skills to promote the worthwhile scientific causes which she is passionate about.
 
She’s been instrumental in receiving numerous awards and recognitions, including: an iF Design Award, Red Dot Awards, Creativity International Awards, plus AWRT Bell Awards for Best Programming, Best Website and Best Public Relations Campaign.
 
A graduate of Marian University, Duffy holds Bachelor of Science degrees in English, communication and minored in art. She also attended the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, and is pursuing a degree in ecommerce marketing. Desireé Duffy has a daughter, husband, and two pug-mixes—Spike and Teddy Bear. She resides in Southern California, but lives wherever her spirit moves her.

Ash Sobhe

Ash Sobhe is an entrepreneur with a deep passion for technology. His first company was the award-winning ITC, a digital marketing agency. His latest company is R6S,a revolutionary new creative media group, where Sobhe takes his expertise and ingenuity to resounding heights.
 
Formerly the Vice President of Marketing for Insurance Compass LLC in San Diego, Sobhe had a rewarding role with a company that provided health benefits to children with cancer when their families could not afford cancer treatments.
 
Sobhe also served as the IT Chair for many non-profit organizations. With a knack for computers and technology that can be traced back to his childhood, he naturally gravitated to the board position. Often charged with handling IT and networking duties, his frequent title as IT Chair became the inspiration for the name ITC, his first tech company.
 
ITC quickly grew quickly from a firm that primarily managed SEO, into a premiere integrated digital marketing agency, which has now given rise to R6S.
 
A creative media group that blends all the benefits of integrated digital marketing with the latest in public relations and creative content development, R6S offers content, social media, digital advertising, as well as the most specialized SEO capabilities in the industry.
 
Sobhe’s expertise in digital media and internet marketing is matched by few of his peers. A child prodigy, he began working on neighbor’s computers at the age of 12 to help support his family, and his passion for helping others through technology is a driving force that motivates him to this day.
 
A graduate of California State University, Northridge where he studied business marketing with a focus in information systems and information technology, Sobhe also studied psychology with Yale courses. He lives in Calabasas, California with his fiancé and their trusted Labrador retriever, Levi, Sobhe’s best friend for life.
