Dear Promax Members –

For more than 60 years, our close-knit global community of entertainment marketers and creatives has, in many ways, functioned as more of a family than a non-profit member association. This is a special bond that we all share.

As the head of this global family, I feel an immense obligation for the safety of our members attending any of our events. Due to circumstances surrounding the rising concern caused by the outbreak of COVID-19 (coronavirus), it has become clear that we will need to postpone next month’s Promax Europe Conference and Awards Show in Madrid.   

Representing your professional and career development needs remain the benchmark of our organization, but like a caring family, we take your health and well-being just as seriously.

While I know some of you will be disappointed by this, I would like to emphasize that this is a postponement and not a cancellation. We fully intend to hold Promax Europe 2020 later this year and are already exploring alternative dates and related details so that we can bring you the same experience you look forward to from any of our events. As of now, the new date will likely be in late September or early October.

I know that collectively we’re thinking about the health of those already affected by the coronavirus and we’re hopeful that medical and government organizations around the world are taking the necessary steps to contain it.
