Lessons to Lead By: Wendy McMahon
Location: Antigua
When Wendy McMahon began her career in television 26 years ago as a Promotion Manager at WTOC, the CBS affiliate in Savannah, Georgia, the New Orleans native and proud Louisiana State University graduate had lofty ambitions and a strong work ethic, but never could have predicted where her career path would lead her. After gaining invaluable experience at stations in Jacksonville, Austin, Minneapolis-St. Paul and Boston, she landed in her current home city of Los Angeles and was named Senior Vice President of Marketing and Programming at KABC-TV. In 2015, she became the Senior Vice President of Digital for the ABC Owned Television Stations; and three short years later was selected to serve as President of the ABC Stations. Last May, Wendy returned to CBS as President and Co-Head of CBS News and Stations. Along with many other honors, her creative teams have earned Promax Gold. What a journey it has been! Now she will reveal the lessons she has learned along the way in this can’t-miss, up-close-and-personal session. Some lessons were simple, some hard-earned. But all of them are relevant to your own career and personal leadership growth.
